PM Dahal optimistic about new govt addressing national interest

Kathmandu, June 6: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ voiced hope that the new government would address national interest by accommodating aspirations of all.
“Proposing Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for the post of new Prime Minister by a sitting PM is a result of national unity and a gesture of understanding,” said PM Dahal while proposing Deuba for the post of the new prime minister at Legislature-Parliament meeting on Tuesday.
He also referred to his proposal to pick CPN-UML’s leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and KP Sharma Oli as PM in different times after the country turned into a republic. “NC did me a favour. I wish I could propose UML’s other leaders for Prime Minister’s post in the days to come. All should unite for the sake of nation’s whole interest,” Deuba said.
He also extended well-wishes to Deuba for success in his endeavour as PM to fulfill his commitments ahead.
In a different context, PM Dahal said Nepal could pursue development soon by achieving economic social transformation and creating the base for socialism, while referring to different instances of talking about Nepal’s development with leaders of both neighbours India and China. RSS
